Worn by Clyde Kusatsu as Vice Admiral Nakamura in the Star Trek: TNG season 2 episode #135 “The Measure of a Man,” which aired the week of February 13, 1989. Vice Admiral Nakamura was onboard Starbase 257 in 2365 when the Enterpirse arrived. He ordered Captain Picard to release Data to Commander Bruce Maddox for experiments but was halted by a trial called by Picard to determine Data's true status. The costume consists of a sleeveless black polyester jumpsuit with command red trim up the front of each leg, a command red gaberdine jacket with black shoulders with gold and silver detailed trim, a red collar with black trim and black chevrons around the cuffs with gold and silver detailed trim. Attached to the collar are two corresponding metal Vice Admiral rank pips. Replica combadge, sleeve Vice Admiral rank pips and black boots complete the costume. The costume was screen matched.
