One of the parasites seen in the Star Trek: TNG season one episode #125 “Conspiracy,” which aired the week May 9, 1988. After Captain Picard received a dark warning from an old friend, the Enterprise returned to Earth to stop an alien invasion from taking over Starfleet Command. These parasites were seen after Captain Picard and Commander Riker opened fire with their phasers and vaporized Lieutenant Commander Remmick’s outer layer of skin and exploded his chest cavity. After the mother creature broke through, they fired again until the creature was vaporized, leaving several of these blood-soaked parasites around the chair and floor, and the decapitated smoldering remains of what was once Remmick.
