Antedian Dignitary Costume

The costume is a full length metallic fibrous cloth with matching fabric sleeves consisting of two parts.

Worn by Mick Fleetwood, the drummer from Fleetwod Mac, as an Antedian Dignitary in the Star Trek: TNG season two episode #145 “Manhunt,” which aired the week of June 19, 1989.  The Antedians were an intelligent humanoid species, fish-like in appearance, from the planet Antede III.  Worf considered them to be "a handsome race," whereas Lwaxana Troi stated that the "last time [she] saw something like that it was being served on a plate."  The Enterprise escorted two Antedian dignitaries to a conference on the planet Pacifica. However, immediately prior to transport it was revealed, by Ambassador Troi, that they were in fact assassins and their robes were lined with ultritium. They had planned on blowing up the entire conference. The costume consists of an ankle-length futuristic two layered tunic of pleated silver lamé fabric with long oversize sleeves and a shoulder platform covered in knobby black and silver material, a floor-length underskirt with matching fabric and a pair of silver painted fabric dance slippers. Tom Spina completed the display with a sculpted and painted resin head and hands and a custom mannequin. The internal fabric harness on the tunic and the underskirt reads: “Mick.”  Profiles Hollywood Auction June 28, 2017, lot 1279 - Christie’s 40 Years of Star Trek, Friday, October 6, 2006, lot 605.
