Worn by Alice Krige as the Borg Queen in the feature film Star Trek VIII: First Contact, which opened on November 22, 1996.  The Borg Queen, a humanoid of Species 125, served as the central nexus of the Borg Collective and embodied its fusion of organic and synthetic life. Her face and upper torso were organic while the rest of her body, including her skull and spinal cord, were synthetic. In the film, biomechanical conduits lowered her body into her suit and detached, revealing these connectors at her shoulders.  The connectors are made of cast resin painted silver with a slightly weathered effect. They feature a central target ring design with four connecting sprockets and perimeter rivets. The reverse of each piece is black and retains adhesive and remnants of the Borg Queen’s makeup. The connectors were stored in a zip-lock bag labeled “BORG QUEEN” in blue ink. Heritage Hollywood/Entertainment Showcase Auction #41199, Lot 4195, Wednesday March 25, 2026 - Michael Westmore.
