Borg Queen Costume

The costume consists of a cast latex biomechanical black body suit and a pair of Borg gloves painted as metallic cyborg hardware.

Production made costume like that worn by Alice Krige as the Borg Queen in the feature film Star Trek VIII: First Contact, which opened on November 22, 1996.  The Borg Queen was the name given to the entity that existed within and served as a central nexus for the Borg Collective. The Borg Queen was a humanoid female of Species 125. In accordance with the Borg pursuit of perfection, a blending of the organic and synthetic, very little of her original humanoid form remained. Her face and upper torso were organic while the rest of her body, including her skull and spinal cord, were synthetic. The Borg Queen, along with other drones, traveled back to Earth's past to prevent First Contact, and by doing so, hoped to be able to assimilate Earth. The costume consists of a cast latex biomechanical black body suit and a pair of Borg gloves painted as metallic cyborg hardware.  Tom Spina added replica cast silver shoulder clips and painted the body suit to match the screen shots from the film. He also added a cast Borg Queen head and light-up spine and boots to complete the costume.  John Nichols November 21, 2019 - Propdomain Horror & Sci Fi Props Auction XIII Lot 202, September 14, 2013.
