Worn by Patrick Stewart as Captain Picard’s double in the Star Trek: TNG season three episode #166 “Allegiance,” which aired the week of March 26, 1990.  Telepathically linked aliens abduct Captain Picard and replace him with a double so they can study human leadership qualities. Captain Picard’s double wears this costume while on a date with Dr. Beverly Crusher.  The costume consists of purplish brown pants with black stirrups and a purple double breasted shirt with long sleeves and a system of snaps and clasps across the front of the body.  The shirt is pleated for a ribbed effect and has a “V”opening to expose the chest.  The costume tag reads “166 Allegiance, Picard, Patrick Stewart, shirt, pants.”  Giles Aston January 31, 2017 – It’s A Wrap eBay Auction April 13, 2007.
