3D printed emblem (2370 forward version) painted metallic silver and gold with verso stamped: "Jean-Luc Picard SP937-215."
Handled by Patrick Stewart as Jean-Luc Picard in the Star Trek: Picard season one episode #102 "Maps and Legends," which aired the week of January 30, 2020. It was 9 PM at Château Picard, and the admiral was in his study. He picked up a silver box and took his old combadge out. He walked outside, pinned his old combadge on his chest, and, after a second or two of hesitation, he taped it and called Raffi, told her to not hang up, he needed her help, he needed a ship. The Starfleet combadge was a crystalline composite of gold, microfilament, silicon, beryllium, and carbon-70. They were designed for on-board ship communication with other Starfleet personnel when using the internal communication system was impossible or impractical, for accessing the on-board computer when not in an area that the computer is monitoring, for ship-to-shore communications, and for direct communication to another combadge. This is the 2370's - 2380's version. The badge is 3D printed and painted metallic gold and silver. The verso is metallic gold and stamped: "Jean-Luc Picard SP937-215." 1 of 3.
