Captain Picard's Racquetball Suit & Racquet

The suit is gray fabric that has small patterned bumps in the front and puckered fabric down the sides and sleeves. Green trim decorates the collar, chest and down each leg. The racket is brushed metal with a rubber grip.

Worn and used by Patrick Stewart as Captain Picard in the Star Trek: TNG season four episode #176 “Suddenly Human,” which aired the week of October 15, 1990.  The Enterprise discovers a human boy named Jono, played by Chad Allen, being raised by the Talarian’s who murdered his parents.  Ultimately Picard decides to return the boy to his Talarian father rather than return him to his grandparents. Picard wears this costume while playing racquetball with Jono. The racket is brushed metal with a wooden handle.  The blue grip and black rubber grommets were restored. The wardrobe tag reads “TNG #176 ‘Suddenly Human’ Picard Patrick Stewart Racquetball Suit.”  It’s a Wrap eBay Auction March 2, 2007.
