The item is made of brass and aluminum metal tubes with an aluminum central brace and two adjustable aluminum bars that hold the wearer's hands in place. There is a central hole where a hanging mount locks into place. The piece measures approximately 10.75 x 4.75 x 1 inch.

Used to bind Captain Picard’s hands in the Star Trek: TNG season six episodes #236-7 “Chain Of Command Part I and II,” which aired the week of December 14, 1992.  During questioning Gul Madred tells Captain Picard he will no longer have the privilege of rank or individuality. He will only be referred to as "Human." The guards rip and pull Picard's clothes down to his ankles and restrain his wrists in these manacles which connect to a steel rack above. The captain is left naked and suspended, by his wrists, above the floor. The item is made of brass and aluminum metal tubes with an aluminum central brace and two adjustable aluminum bars that hold the wearer’s hands in place.  There is a central hole where a hanging mount locks into place.  The piece measures approximately 10.75 x 4.75 x 1 inch.
