Seen in the Chateau Picard vineyard in the Star Trek: Picard season two opening episode #201 “The Star Gazer,” which aired the week of March 3, 2022. After the scene on the USS Stargazer and the opening credits action shifted to the Picard vineyard. These items are used as background in the various vineyard shots. The crate is made of pine with the following burned into the top and two sides of the box: “Grand Cru Classé Château Picard Grand Vin De Bordeaux 2401 Product of France 12x750ml. The box measures 21” x 13” 7.5.” The 750 ml wine bottles are similarly marked but one paper label is tan printed in black and burgundy and dated 2386 and the other paper label is silver printed in gray with a removable black wax cover and dated 2399. The wine bottles also note “Appellation La Barre Contrôlée. While only known by wine aficionados, but never explained, the La Barre designation is in Burgundy, not Bordeaux.
