Commander Riker's Asylum Costume

The costume consists of a gray shirt that snaps across the neck giving it an off centered seam and a pair matching trousers.

Worn by Jonathan Frakes as Commander Riker in the Star Trek: TNG season six episode #247 “Frame of Mind,” which aired the week of May 3, 1993.  Riker was convinced he was going insane and was trapped in an alien mental hospital on Tilonus IV with little memory of the past.  He ultimately escaped by holding his captors at bay while activating his communicator so he could be beamed back to the Enterprise. Once back he learned what really happened. He was attacked from behind and abducted in an alley. As he tried to fight the attackers off, he was injected with a sedative. Picard concluded that they were attempting to extract strategic information. The costume consists of a gray shirt that snaps across the neck giving it an off-centered seam and a pair of matching trousers.  The garments features sewn in Star Trek TNG tags that read “Jonathan Frakes” and the costume tag reads “#247 TNG ‘Frame of Mind’ Riker Jonathan Frakes” and lists the components.  It’s A Wrap eBay Auction April 13, 2007.
