Worn by Jonathan Frakes as Commander William Riker in Star Trek: TNG season three forward.  Commander Riker was the Enterprise’s executive officer and second in command.  Captain Picard referred to him as “Number One.” He was so satisfied serving on the Enterprise that he twice turned down commands of his own although he temporarily held a field promotion to captain during the Borg crisis of 2366-7 during Picard’s abduction. The uniform consists of wool gaberdine black, long-sleeved Starfleet third season-style uniform top featuring operations maroon across the front, back and sleeves and maroon piping along the Mandarin collar, a matching pair of black bib-style pants with integral elastic suspenders and split-cuffs with elastic stirrups, and two black cotton short-sleeve under tunics.  Original metal rank pips and an original resin combadge complete the costume.   Sewn in Star Trek TNG tags in the uniform top and undershirts read “Johnathan.”  A sewn in Paramount tag in the pants reads “J.
