Worn by Stephanie Beacham as Countess Regina Barthalomew in the Star Trek: TNG season six episode #238 “Ship in a Bottle,” which aired the week of January 25, 1993. The countess was a holographic figure created as a character in one of Data's holographic programs based on Sherlock Holmes. She was designed as a romantic companion for James Moriarty. In 2369 Moriarty became self-aware and briefly commandeered the Enterprise. To get control of his ship back Captain Picard convinced Moriarty that he was released from the holodeck.
