Used by Brent Spiner as Data in the film Star Trek VII: Generations, which opened on November 18, 1994.  While on the Armagosa observatory Geordi and Data needed to open the corridor’s magnetically sealed bulkhead. To do that Data opened a small panel on his wrist and made a quick adjustment to his circuitry to reverse the doors’ polarity by attenuating his axial servo. When he made the adjustment, he said, “open sesame” and the doors opened. Once inside they found solar panels that contained a hidden trilithium weapon.  The arm is made of foam latex around a fiberglass frame painted to match Data’s skin color.
