Data’s Starfleet Uniform

Worn by Brent Spiner as Data in Star Trek: TNG season three forward. Lieutenant Commander Data was a Soong-type android, the first and only such being ever to enter Starfleet. Data was created some time in the 2330s. He was a self-aware, sapient, sentient and anatomically fully functional male android who served as the second officer and chief operations officer aboard the Enterprise-D and later the Enterprise-E. The uniform consists of a wool gaberdine black, long-sleeved Starfleet third season-style uniform top featuring operations mustard gold across the front, back and sleeves and mustard gold piping along the Mandarin collar, and a matching pair of black bib-style pants with integral elastic suspenders and split-cuffs with elastic stirrups. Replica boots, rank pips and a combadge complete the costume.   Paramount sewn in tags in the jacket read "Brent Spiner G23" and the pants "SPINER #1." One TNG wardrobe tag reads "...Data Brent Spiner Starfleet uniform pants (Blk Wool)” and the other "… Season 3-7 Data Brent Spiner Uniform Jkt."
