Daystrom Station Bypass Keys (red and blue), Key Case and Key Holder Insert

Michelle Hurd (Raffi) held this key case, and Michael Dorn (Worf) removed this red key from it, placed this key into this holder insert, and inserted it into the Daystrom AI Station security system to disarm it in the Star Trek: Picard season 3 episode #306, “The Bounty,” which aired the week of March 23, 2023. These red and blue keys, along with this key holder insert, were also held by Kirk Acevedo as Krinn in the Star Trek: Picard Season 3 episode #305, “Imposters,” which aired the week of March 16, 2023. The bypass key was a physical/digital device obtained from the Vulcan crime lord Krinn by Worf and Raffi and was used to temporarily disable Daystrom Station's lethal, adaptive AI security system which manifested as Professor Moriarty during the team's infiltration. The key case, measuring approximately 1 7/8 in. by 3 3/4 in., is made of clear Lucite etched with square patterns on the front and back. It features a latch that allows the holder to open the case and remove the key. The tag-shaped keys, each measuring approximately 1 1/4 in. by 2 3/4 in., are gray with gold circuitry lines and opaque colored Lucite rectangular inserts. The red key’s rectangular insert features gray and gold circuitry with etching, while the blue key’s rectangular insert features etching only. The rectangular key holder insert, measuring approximately 2 1/4 in. by 5 1/2 in., is made of clear Lucite with etched circuitry and a hollowed-out space designed to hold the key.
