Doctor Crusher's Lab Coat

The season one double breasted lab coat is blue green wrong side upholstery velvet with side pockets and a gray silk lining. It was the version Dr. Crusher wore closed since it has silver clasps and thread attachments in the front to close the coat.

Worn by Gates McFadden as Dr. Beverly Crusher in Star Trek: TNG throughout season one which aired from September 28, 1987 through May 16, 1988.  The closed coat appeared in “Lonely Among Us,” “Justice,” “The Battle,” “Hide and Q” and “Haven.”  Commander Beverly G. Crusher, MD, was the chief medical officer aboard the Enterprise. She briefly left her post to become head of Starfleet Medical, only to return shortly after. She was a Fellow of the Academy of Starfleet Surgeons (Sol Chapter). She was born as Beverly Howard in Copernicus City on Earth's moon on October 13, 2324. Her ancestry was from North America, although her distant ancestors hailed from Scotland. She was married to Jack Crusher in 2348 (who died on an away mission) and had one son in 2348, Wesley Crusher.
