The 750 ml bottle (4" x 4" x 11 ¼") is made of clear dark green glass with a black foil wrapper around the neck. The paper label is printed in black with an antiqued gold sepia background and is glued over the original label.
A label identical to this production made label appeared on a bottle of Dom Perignon champagne in 2293 in the feature film Star Trek VII: Generations, which opened on November 18, 1994. In the famous opening christening sequence, observed by Kirk, Chekov and Scotty, a label like this one was affixed to a bottle of Dom Perignon which tumbled slowly through space before smashing into the hull of the U.S.S. Enterprise-B sitting in its dock in orbit around earth. The paper label is printed in black with an antiqued gold sepia background. The reverse side is the same label printed in black on white laminated paper. The label measures 3.75 x 4 inches and reads: “Moet et Chandon a Epernay Fondee en 1743 Champagne Cuvee Dom Perignon Vintage 2265.” PropWorx Star Trek Prop And Costume Auction Lot 19, August 8, 2010 – Doug Drexler
