Worn by Ellen Geer as Dr. Kila Marr in the Star Trek: TNG season five episode #204 “Silicon Avatar,” which aired the week of October 14, 1991. Doctor Marr was a Human xenologist and former resident of the Omicron Theta colony. She had one son, Raymond (“Renny”), born in 2322. Dr. Marr left the colony to pursue her career and left her son in the care of friends who remained in the colony. Marr never found the time to return to the colony before Renny was killed in an attack by the Crystalline Entity. Dr. Marr experienced a great amount of guilt over the fact that she did not make it a priority to visit her son and channeled her feelings into studying the Entity. She ended her career badly by destroying the crystalline entity to gain revenge upon it for having killed her son. The costume consists of silver pantyhose, silver pinstriped pants with a separation at the knee exposing a purple fabric, and a matching dress. There is ribbing at the cuffs of both sleeves and light grey/blue metallic trim around the collar and cuffs. The TNG costume tag reads “#204 ‘Silicon Avatar’ Dr. Marr 2 piece grey long coat dress w/ matching pants.” It’s a Wrap eBay Auction March 9, 2007.
