Concept artwork used to design and build Leah Brahms costumes seen in the Star Trek: TNG season four episode #190 “Galaxy’s Child,” which aired the week of March 11, 1991. Doctor Leah Susan Brahms was a female Human scientist of the 24th century United Federation of Planets. Considered a leader in warp field theory and its applications, she made major contributions to the development of the Galaxy-class warp drive system. Her expertise and innovative approach led to advancements that were pivotal to Starfleet's technological progress. She became a professor at the Daystrom Institute, where she inspired countless students and continued to shape the future of space exploration. One of the costumes is a long-sleeved, gray jacket featuring gray piping, black and gray, vertical stripes, a zip and buttons down the back with a matching skirt. The other is a long-sleeved purple blouse featuring an abstract, textured pattern, matching trousers and heeled shoes attached to tights.
