Dr. Soong's Costume

Worn by Ken Eblinj and/or Brent Spiner as Dr. Soong in the Star Trek: TNG season seven episode #262 “Inheritance,” which aired the week of November 22, 1993.  In this episode Data meets his mother who turns out to be an android just like Data. In the final scene Dr. Soong speaks to Data in the holodeck in this costume. The costume is a multicolored checker quilted coat with a symmetrical front seal and a set of blue colored trousers with distressed hems at the ankles made to appear faded.  It also features a pair of textured silk and leather sandals.  The trousers and coat feature sewn in tags reading “Dr. Soong” and the sandals are inscribed “Brent”.  The wardrobe tag reads “#262 TNG ‘Inheritance’ Data as Dr. Soong Brent Spiner photo double” and list the components.  It’s A Wrap eBay Auction February 28, 2008.
