Part of the Dyson Sphere seen in the Star Trek: TNG season six episode #230 “Relics” which aired the week of October 12, 1992.  While responding to a distress signal, the Enterprise encountered a Dyson Sphere. The source of the distress signal, a transport ship, was found crashed into the outside surface of the sphere. An away team recovered a single survivor, who turned out to be Montgomery Scott. A Dyson sphere was a colossal sphere constructed around a star surrounding it. The interior of the sphere would absorb the entire energy output of that star, which allowed lifeforms to live on the interior surface almost indefinitely. Such a structure was theorized by the 20th century physicist Freeman Dyson. The Dyson Sphere fragment is made of fiberglass with various kit bashed greebles and painted gray.  Propstore Online Entertainment Memorabilia Auction: Los Angeles, Lot 733, Tuesday February 28, 2023.
