Seen on the monitor in engineering in the Star Trek: TNG season seven episode #275 “Emergence,” which aired the week of May 9, 1994.  A series of puzzling events on and off the holodeck lead the crew to the conclusion that the Enterprise is trying to reproduce and that it needs their help to do so.  Data and Geordi brief Commander Riker in engineering using this display to show the location of numerous connection nodes throughout the ship that all intersect in Holodeck three. The panel is 23” x 20” and is made of black and clear film with colored gel on the verso filling the clear areas. The screen matched panel displays the USS Enterprise (NCC-1701-D) in a “plan view” with several connection nodes resembling the crude beginnings of a spider’s web.
