The verso of the canvas reads: “goodart.badart.com/A. Dopaso.”

Seen in General Jean-Luc Picard’s hall in Château Picard in the Star Trek: Picard season two episode #201 “The Star Gazer,” which aired the week of March 3, 2022. General Jean-Luc Picard was part of a timeline where Earth became a fascist empire named the Confederation of Earth, which was like the Terran Empire of the Mirror Universe. Much like the Picard of the Dark Mirror timeline, this Picard was a cruel and brutal man who had killed millions in his conquests. In this universe, Picard served as the commanding officer of the CSS World Razer. When the Jean-Luc Picard of the prime timeline was given a tour of this Picard's chateau, he was horrified to learn more about the man. This Picard had a habit of conquering worlds with his ship and facing aliens in combat. The printed painting backup (24” x 34”) depicts General Picard in his black uniform.  It was printed on canvas and placed on a wood stretcher frame. The canvas was covered with clear acrylic gel to simulate brush strokes. A replica frame was added.  Terry Matalas September 4, 2023.
