Governor Worf’s Costume Concept Artwork

The blue ink sketch is done on the back of half a piece of orange script paper 5 ½ in. x 8 ½ in. Stappled to the sketch are three pieces of fabric used in the creation of the costume.

Concept artwork used to design and build Worf’s Governor costume seen in the Star Trek: TNG season seven series final episode #277 “All Good Things,” which aired the week of May 23, 1994. In the future timeline of “All Good Things…”, Beverly Picard, captain of the USS Pasteur, contacted Worf, now the dissatisfied Governor of H’atoria, for passage through Klingon‑controlled former Romulan space. Though initially reluctant, Worf agreed to escort the ship himself. During a subsequent Klingon attack, he delivered the uncharacteristic surrender transmission, translated as: “This is Governor Worf, we surrender!” This version of Worf reflected his disillusionment after Deanna Troi’s death and his resignation from Starfleet, which led him into an unhappy political exile. Heritage Hollywood/Entertainment Showcase Auction #41199, Lot 4149, Wednesday March 25, 2026 – Robert Blackman.
