Ian Troi's Costume

The jumpsuit consists of pale olive-green legs with tan puckered sleeves and a patterned off white and brown velvet on the chest and back.

Worn by R.J. Williams as Ian Troi at eight years old in the Star Trek: TNG season two opening episode #127 “The Child,” which aired the week of November 21, 1988.  Ian Andrew Troi II was the name given to an intelligent life-force entity whose natural form was a glowing white light that traveled in space. It wished to experience a Human existence after happening to pass by the Enterprise. It decided to impregnate Deanna Troi, becoming a half-Human, half-Betazoid male baby after a thirty-six-hour term. Deanna named him after her father. He grew from an infant to an eight-year old in one day. Unfortunately, Ian's presence turned out to be harmful to the crew. The radiation he gave off was causing an on-board container of a plasma plague to fail, putting everyone on the ship in danger. He then decided to leave the Enterprise by dying. The jumpsuit consists of pale olive-green legs with tan puckered sleeves and a patterned off white and brown velvet on the chest and back.  The wardrobe tag reads “#127 The Child R.J. Williams ‘Ian’ 8 yr. old, change 1 #1 outfit.”  Mike Williams July 1, 2020 - It’s A Wrap eBay Auction April 13, 2007.
