Worn by Rosalind Chao as Keiko Ishikawa/O’Brien in the Star Trek: TNG season four episode #185 “Data’s Day,” which aired the week of January 7, 1991. Before Star Trek Chao portrayed Soon-Lee, Klinger’s girlfriend, in Mash. Keiko Ishikawa was assigned to the Enterprise as a botanist, working primarily in the arboretum. She was also the head of the plant biology lab. Keiko was introduced to Miles O'Brien by their mutual friend, Data. The two eventually wed aboard the Enterprise in a wedding ceremony that combined Irish and Japanese traditions. Data served as the "father of the bride" and gave Keiko away at her wedding. Keiko wears these overalls in the arboretum while telling Data she changed her mind about marrying Chief O’Brien. The costume consists of overalls in textured metallic brass colored fabric with black elastic stirrups with a matching belt. A replica long sleeve shirt completes the costume.
