Designed by Rick Sternbach, this knife features a dull polished aluminum blade with a smaller angled polished aluminum side blade with a resin handle painted flat black and brown with metallic gold accents.
Used by one of the two Klingon assassins in the Star Trek: TNG season three episode #165 “Sins of the Father,” which aired the week of March 19, 1990. This knife can be seen wielded by the first Klingon assassin who attacked Captain Picard (Worf’s cha'Dich) while on Kronos, trying to help Worf clear his father’s name. Picard was attacked in the street after leaving Kahlest’s house who he was trying to convince to testify on Worf’s behalf. Picard would have been killed by the assassin but for Kahlest throwing her knife and hitting him in the back.
