She exceeded Data's capabilities in several ways, notably by being able to complete more than sixty trillion calculations per second, using verbal contractions, and feeling emotions such as fear and love. She died after suffering a cascade failure in her neural net. As Lal was dying, she expressed her love for her father and thanked him for creating her, before summing up her brief life in a few short words.
