The ears are composed of resin painted to match Data and Lore’s skin color with faux silver robotic attachments at back. They measure about 2 ½ in. x 2 in. x 1 ½ in.
Seen in Doctor Noonian Soong’s lab in the Star Trek: TNG season one episode #114 “Datalore,” which aired the week of January 18, 1988. The Enterprise crew visited Omicron Theta, the colony where Data was found, and discovered his unstable, evil android twin, Lore. Lore, who was programmed with emotions and lacked a morality chip, conspired with the crystalline entity to destroy the ship, but was ultimately outsmarted by Wesley Crusher and Data, who beamed Lore into space. These ears were found in the storage area of Dr. Noonian Soong's lab with the disassembled androids other parts including his head and various components.
