Monk robe

The costume consists of a reddish brown dyed wool robe, tabard and a long pointy hood and a white rope belt. The robes seal with Velcro placements.

Worn by Jonathan Frakes as Commander William Riker as Little John in the Star Trek: TNG season four episode #194 “Qpid,” which aired the week of April 22, 1991.  In the episode Q casts Captain Picard and his senior staff in the guise of Robin Hood and his Merry Men to battle Sir Guy of Gisbourne and the Sheriff of Nottingham.  Commander Riker wears this costume while disguised as a monk during the rescue of Captain Picard and Vash from Sir Guy.  The costume consists of a reddish-brown dyed wool robe, tabard and a long pointy hood and a white rope belt. The robes are sealed with Velcro placements.  A TNG costume tag reads “#194 ‘Q Love’ Monks Robe  Robe  Tabbard hood Rope belt.”  The name “Janathon” (sic) is printed in maker on the robes bottom seam.  eBay April 1, 2018 - Giles Aston - It’s A Wrap direct sale.
