First seen in the Star Trek: TNG season four episode #183 “Final Mission” which aired the week of November 12, 1990. Captain Picard summoned Wesley Crusher to the Bridge, where he informed him that he was accepted to Starfleet Academy. He further honored Wesley by asking him to accompany him on a final mission to help mediate a dispute on Pentarus V. When the Enterprise was called to investigate another nearby crisis, Picard and Wesley proceed alone, traveling with a representative of the planet, Captain Dirgo, in his dilapidated mining shuttle the Nenbebek. En route, the shuttles port thruster module failed, forcing an emergency landing on a desert-like moon Lambda Paz, a class M moon of Pentarus III.
