Picard’s Walking Stick

The stunt walking stick is 34 in. long and is made of a hard rubber/resin shaft and handle that is faux finished to look like reddish brown stained wood and a bronze-colored metal ferrule and handle ends.

Used by Patrick Stewart as Jean-Luc Picard in the Star Trek: Picard season one episodes #101 “Remembrance,” which aired the week of January 23, 2020, and #103 “The End is the Beginning,” which aired the week of February 6, 2020. At the end of the 24th century, and fourteen years after his retirement from Starfleet, Jean-Luc Picard was living a quiet life on his vineyard, Château Picard, in La Barre, France.  There he tended to his grapes and the production of Château Picard wine. Picard used a walking stick whenever he toured the vineyard, greeted or observed the workers who tended his grape vines or walked his dog, No. 1. This stunt walking stick was used when the hero walking stick, that had a built-in telescope in the handle, was not being used. It was specifically used in the fight scenes with the Zhat Vash agents in the library at Château Picard and some scenes in the vineyard. The stunt walking stick is 34 in. long and is made of a hard rubber/resin shaft and handle that is faux finished to look like reddish brown stained wood and a bronze-colored metal ferrule and handle ends.
