Seen behind Jean-Luc Picard's desk in his study in the Star Trek: Picard season two episode #201 "The Star Gazer," which aired the week of March 3, 2022, and the Star Trek: Picard season three episode 301 The Next Generation," which aired the week of February 16, 2023.

The Mintakan tapestry was a woven tapestry of designs placed on a piece of hide made by the Mintakans of Mintaka III. In 2366, the tapestry was given to Captain Jean-Luc Picard as a gift when the Enterprise-D visited the planet. From that point on, the tapestry was either displayed in Picard's quarters or ready room aboard the Enterprise-D. Following the destruction of the Enterprise-D in 2371, Picard managed to rescue the tapestry and later displayed it in his ready room aboard the Enterprise-E and then his desk chair at Chateau Picard.
