Seen in the library at Château Picard and then presented by Patrick Stewart as Jean-Luc Picard to Evan Evagora as Elnor in the Star Trek: Picard season two episode #201 “The Star Gazer,” which aired the week of March 3, 2022. “The Many and the One” was a memoir written by Spock regarding the challenges he faced as one of the first Vulcan cadets in Starfleet. Picard owned a first edition of this book which he kept in his personal library at Château Picard. In 2401, he gifted it to Elnor upon his assignment to the Excelsior. In response to Elnor's concern that his excitement could distract him from his studies, Picard quoted from the book: "Exhilaration enhances the absorption of knowledge."
