Promellian Battlecruiser Sign

The gray cardboard 11 ½ x 4 ½ inch sign is rectangular with jagged sides. It is printed lavender with a thick line that follows the edges and with various vertical lines, some with arrows.

Seen on the walls of the Promellian battlecruiser Cleponji in the Star Trek: TNG season three episode #154 “Booby Trap” which aired the week of October 30, 1989.  Captain Picard took the Enterprise into a mysterious asteroid belt to examine the only known relic of a long-dead race -- the Promellian. Picard discovered that the belt was a lethal snare, and he assigned La Forge the impossible task of finding a way out before it was too late. The Promellians were a warp-capable technologically advanced humanoid species who destroyed themselves. The battle cruiser was utilized by the Promellian military many generations prior to the 14th century. While crude by 24th century Federation standards, when this design was built, Humans on Earth were just perfecting the mechanical clock and using steel crossbows in battle. Visiting a Promellian battle cruiser was always a dream of Picard – as a child he used to build model ships in bottles. In 2401, a miniature Promellian battle cruiser displayed as a ship in a bottle was kept by Picard in his library at Château Picard. The gray cardboard 11 ½ x 4 ½ inch sign is rectangular with jagged sides. It is printed lavender with a thick line that follows the edges and with various vertical lines, some with arrows.
