Q's God Costume

The costume is a full-length, long sleeved robe in textured, vertical stripped design, sea-foam green in color, pleated with an attached reflective dickie, with matching sleeves and corresponding belt with braided accent.

Worn by John de Lancie as Q in the Star Trek: TNG season six episode #241 “Tapestry,” which aired the week of February 15, 1993.  Gravely injured in a Lenarian attack, Picard slipped into a white, seamless limbo while Beverly struggled to save his life. There, he encountered Q, who informed Picard that he was dead, and this was the afterlife - and that Q himself was God! Picard refused to believe that he was dead, let alone that Q was the Supreme Being. The costume is a full-length, long-sleeved robe in textured, vertically stripped design, sea-foam green in color, pleated with an attached reflective dickey, with matching sleeves and corresponding belt with braided accent.  The sewn in Star Trek: TNG tag reads: “Mr. J DeLancie." The costume tag reads: “#241 Tapestry ... ‘Q’ John Delancy 3 pc costume - Sea foam & white robe, belt, sleeves."  The interior collar of the robe is signed in black Sharpie “John de Lance.” Chris Palmer October 25, 2012 - It’s a Wrap eBay Auction June 29, 2007.
