Yvette Picard lived in La Barre, France during the 24th century. She was the wife of Maurice Picard and the mother of Robert and Jean-Luc Picard. While in a coma Picard's subconscious mind recalled a story about a queen with fiery red hair. His mind conjured up a fantasy version of Château Picard with his mother Yvette dressed as the queen, in this costume. In the fantasy she told a story to young Jean-Luc, who was dressed as a prince.
