Radu Costume

*The costume consists of a burnt orange polyester tunic with decorative black and gold trim along the placket and collar and matching pants with attached black elastic stirrups and suspenders. A tag affixed to the tunic is marked Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer. **The Aldean communicator is made of resin in an elongated hexagonal shape, painted silver and black and backed with Velcro. There are four shaped holes in the black surface with red acetate behind them. It measures 2 ¾ x 1 ¾ x ½ inches.

Worn by Jerry Hardin as Radu in the Star Trek: TNG season one episode #118 “When The Bough Breaks,” which aired the week of February 15, 1988.  Radue, First Appointee of Aldea, attempted to negotiate for the possession of children from the Enterprise in 2364 due to the sterility of his race.
