Wielded by Ron Perlman as the Reman Viceroy in the feature film Star Trek X: Nemesis, which opened on December 13, 2002. Praetor Shinzon first encountered the man who would become his viceroy when he was exiled to the dilithium mines on Remus as a child. Taking pity on Shinzon, he protected him from the brutality of the Romulan guards and raised him to consider the Remans to be his brothers. Years later, the Viceroy served as Shinzon's trusted lieutenant aboard the Reman Warbird Scimitar. He carried this jackal knife while leading a boarding party aboard the Enterprise and used it to wound Captain Riker in the arm before he fell to his death. The prop is a molded rubber knife with the blade painted metallic silver, green and black with spots of dry special effect blood and the handle painted in metallic silver and black.
