Renée Picard’s Gala Dress

Worn by Katherine Klosterman (Penelope Mitchell’s stunt double) as Renée Picard in the Star Trek: Picard season two episode #205 “Fly Me to the Moon,” which aired the week of March 31, 2022. Doctor Renée Picard was a 21st century Human astronaut. She suffered from anxiety and depression for most of her life. An early tragedy in her life was the death of her mother; she had placed a toy spaceship in her casket and had chosen to become an astronaut because she believed that she would be able to fly out far enough to find her in space. Jean-Luc Picard was her great-great cousin. She wore this dress to the Europe Mission Gala. The costume consists of a Galvin London ivory knit silk maxi length sheath dress with a shear silk striped halter neckband and vertical panels on the sides with a split left thigh, Badgley Mischka white gold glitter sandals with thin ankle straps, and two pairs of Givenchy earrings -- oval crystal stud and gold with small oval crystal pendant.
