Starfleet 2402 Delta Combadge

The 3D printed badge consists of a silver delta shield backed by two gold quadrangles. The verso is metallic gold with three spaced metal dots where the 3-pronged gray plastic magnetic backing attaches to be held in place on a uniform.

Worn by characters in the Star Trek: Picard season three series finale episode #310 “The Last Generation,” which aired the week of April 20, 2023.  These combadges were seen in the final minutes of the episode in the one-year time jump. The color of the badge changed from silver and black to the familiar TNG silver and gold. The Starfleet combadge was a crystalline composite of gold, microfilament, silicon, beryllium, and carbon-70. They were designed for on-board ship communication with other Starfleet personnel when using the internal communication system was impossible or impractical, for accessing the on-board computer when not in an area that the computer is monitoring, for ship-to-shore communications, and for direct communication to another combadge. This is the 2402 version.  The 3D printed badge consists of a silver delta shield backed by two gold quadrangles. The verso is metallic gold with three spaced metal dots where the 3-pronged gray plastic magnetic backing attaches to be held in place on a uniform.
