The pages shown in the above episodes were respectively: 778/779, 1220/1221, and 1058/1059. An identical published volume also appeared in Picard's ready room during the first season of Star Trek: The Next Generation. Thereafter it appeared in Picard’s quarters. It also appeared in Picard’s quarters in Star Trek IX: Insurrection. Jean-Luc Picard loved the works of Shakespeare which is why he kept this book. He once told Data that embracing the works of Shakespeare was the best way to learn about the human condition. Shakespeare was regularly referenced in Star Trek: The Next Generation and in Star Trek: Picard.
