The Traveler’s Hand

The large tan and dark brown latex three-finger hand features off-white fingernails and is designed to slip over the actor's hand for easy wear. It is approximately 11 in. x 4 ½ in.

Worn by Eric Menyuk as The Traveler in the Star Trek: TNG season 4 episode #179 “Remember Me,” which aired the week of October 22, 1990, and/or the season 7 episode #272 “Journey’s End,” which aired the week of March 28, 1994.  The Traveler, whose real name he claimed was unpronounceable by Humans, was a humanoid from a mysterious species, encountered by Starfleet during the 2360s. Reported to be from Tau Alpha C, he claimed to be a traveler on a journey to experience “your reality.” He also claimed that while by his understanding he was not from another time, he might be according to Starfleet's understanding of time. The Traveler had certain abilities, like the ability to act like “a lens which focuses thought,” which allowed him to alter space, time, and warp fields with the power of his mind. He could phase out of time and dimension and move between planets and starships.
