U.S.S. Stargazer Plaque

The metallic bronze dedication plaque is made of molded resin with a raised border, bolts and text destressed to look old. It also has a communicator badge glued on and off white metallic printed text. It measures approximately 14 x 10 inches. It is signed on the verso “Mike Okuda.”

Seen on the bridge of the Stargazer in the Star Trek: TNG season one episode #110 “The Battle,” which aired the week of November 16, 1987.  Also seen in the Star Trek: Picard season two episode “The Star Gazer.” The crew of the Enterprise discovered an old-style starship heading towards them shortly after a conference with a Ferengi vessel. To Captain Picard's amazement it turned out to be the Stargazer, a vessel he abandoned nine years earlier in the famous battle of Maxia. The Ferengi Captain, Bok, who took control of the ship informed Picard that he was returning the vessel to Starfleet. Unknown Picard, a mind-altering device was put aboard the ship in his old belongings. As it turned out, Bok was seeking revenge for the death of his son during the battle of Maxia, and the device was used to inflict great pain on Picard. Before tragedy struck, Data devised a strategy to seize the Stargazer with the Enterprise's tractor beam.
