Wesley Crusher Voice Imitator

The device is dark purplish red acrylic with a removable clear frosted cube on top with a black front with two half circle buttons. There are also two black buttons on the top that light up different portions of the device.

Used by Wil Wheaton as Wesley Crusher in the Star Trek: TNG season one episode #103 “The Naked Now,” which aired the week of October 5, 1987.  During their investigation of strange occurrences aboard the Tsiolkovsky Geordi unknowingly carries a deadly contagious disease back to the Enterprise.  As much of the ship becomes infected Wesley uses this device to emulate Captain Picard's voice from words he has used over the communication network to announce that he has taken command of the ship. “Attention all decks, all divisions. Effective immediately, I have handed over control of this vessel to Acting Captain Wesley Crusher.”
