William Rikers Distressed Death Jacket

Worn by Jonathan Frakes as William Riker in the iconic Star Trek: TNG season three episode #163 “Yesterday’s Enterprise,” which aired the week of February 19, 1990. In this memorable episode, the Enterprise-D encountered a mysterious rift in space, revealing the previously unidentified Enterprise-C. Both starships found themselves in a dramatically altered timeline, with Tasha Yar alive and the Federation locked in a bloody war with the Klingons. Amidst a Klingon attack, the alternate Riker met his end wearing this very tunic. The costume is a modified third season Starfleet jacket, crafted from distressed wool gabardine with a back zip, extra seams, and double bust darts. It features a deep burgundy color across the front, back, and sleeves, complemented by a black yoke, a reworked Mandarin collar, asymmetrical sleeve ends, and an asymmetrical waist. Burgundy piping adorns both the collar and the asymmetrical cuffs. The collar, with three holes for rank pips, is notably distressed near the neck -- the site of Riker’s fatal wound. Replica rank pips and a combadge complete the ensemble.
