Worf's Klingon Pilgrim's Robe

The floor-length zip-front Klingon robe is detailed in a geometric pattern of orange, red, brown, green and yellow corduroy with imitation brown leather piping around the collar and shoulders.

Worn by Michael Dorn in the Star Trek: TNG season six episode #249 “Rightful Heir,” which aired the week of May 17, 1993. While suffering a spiritual crisis Worf went to a colony on Boreth, where Klingons were awaiting the return of the ancient warrior Kahless, who had been prophesized to return. While sitting in a trance over several days, wearing this robe, Worf witnessed Kahless materialize before him. Despite the apparent fulfillment of the prophecy Klingon leader Gowron challenged his authenticity. The floor-length zip-front Klingon robe is detailed in a geometric pattern of orange, red, brown, green and yellow corduroy with imitation brown leather piping around the collar and shoulders.  The TNG costume tag reads: “249 Rightful Heir / Worf / Michael Dorn.”  Julian’s Icons and Idols Hollywood Auction, Lot 249, Monday, December 16, 2019 - Stefan Park - Christie’s 40 Years of Star Trek, Lot 616, Friday, October 6, 2006.
